Marking techniques

We work with many different marking techniques to customise textiles and rigid and flexible materials. Scopes of application are broad. At Serigaur, we classify them thus: industrial screen printing, promotion item or gift, fashion, work wear, athletic wear, communication and printing.

Marking techniques

Screen printing

The screen printing technique is one of the oldest and most popular marking methods in the world.

Digital Printing

Digital printing is a marking process that consists of printing ink directly onto a medium with a machine. The machine processes the file sent and transfers it directly to the material.

UV screen printing

The UV screen printing procedure is the same as traditional screen printing, but there are parts of the process that are different.

UV Digital Printing

The UV digital printing procedure is similar to the one explained in the Digital Printing section, but there are parts of the process that are different.

Laser

This marking technique uses a laser light beam with a fibre optic medium, focused on a surface. This surface is "burned," so the desired image (previously sent from a computer) is marked.

Transfer

The marking technique known as transfer is a textile vinyl transferred to the fabric by applying heat with an iron or heat press.

Sublimation

Sublimation is a stamping technique that transfers the ink from a special paper to a medium, either rigid or textile, through the application of heat. This final image is impregnated on the material.

Embroidery

Industrial embroidery is a marking technique that uses an embroidering machine to put threads through the fabric with needles.

Textile Digital Printing

Direct-to-garment digital textile printing is a marking process that consists of printing an image with ink directly onto a fabric with a machine. The machine processes the file sent and transfers it directly to the textile or t-shirts.

Pad printing

Pad printing is a marking process where the image is transferred to a silicone or rubber pad, which is impregnated with ink and then stamped on the medium with a mechanism.

Flexography

Flexography is a quick-marking technique that prints on material on a roll.

Offset

Offset is a quick-marking technique that prints on material indirectly.

Textile silkscreen printing

The silk-screen printing technique on fabric is one of the oldest and most popular marking methods in the world.

DTF fabric printing

Today this process, originally called Direct-to-Film, is increasingly becoming known as Direct-to-Transfer.
