Transfer
The marking technique known as transfer is a textile vinyl transferred to the fabric by applying heat with an iron or heat press.
The main characteristic is that the material adheres to the fabric.
The main feature is that there is no need to design templates, silicon film or clichés.
One of the most customary ways to process the transfer is by printing the vinyl for textile application on a plotter. The must customary materials are:
- Printable white textile vinyl.
- Pigmented cut textile vinyl, meaning with a flat colour or with different finishes.
It is only applied to fabric. There is no need to design templates, silicon film or clichés.
The technological process is much simpler than other techniques and is also faster. This means it is less expensive than other marks.
Garment lines can be customised at a low cost. Additionally, the estimated durability of this stamping technique is approximately 50 washes. This technique is widely used to personalise names on athletic clothing, or is normally used when seeking special effects, especially in fashion.
There are more thermal adhesive solutions with different processes, depending on the product's final objective. We might mention serigraph transfer, which uses the screen-printing technique, or embroidered thermal adhesive patches, which we also offer our clients.
